Unfurl invites you to shed layers of shame, tension and survival energy, to remember the intelligence and guidance in the wisdom of your body through re-embodying pleasure as your birthright.

The container of this immersion will offer you a space to unpack the messages, conditioning and contexts you’ve received, in order to recreate and reimagine your own true way of relating to your body, your sensuality, and the power of your eros—that which moves you.

In our workshops we will learn about:

⚘ Self-Intimacy: Expanding Capacity for Being With Pleasure

⚘ Anatomies of Pleasure: The Vulva, Pelvic Bowl & Nervous System

⚘ Flowering Physiology of Arousal: Your Sexual Excitation System & Sexual Inhibition System

⚘ Feeling Yes & No In Your Body: Embodied Consent, Choice, Desire, Congruence and Boundaries

⚘ Self-Care Practices: Self-Touch, Self-Pleasure & Pelvic Mapping

And the group circles will include:

⚘ Experiential Somatic Practices

⚘ Group Coaching

⚘ Open Q&A and Group-Guided Discussion

The Details

We will meet online zoom twice a month for 3 months as a small group of 8 women and nonbinary babes.

The first call of each month will be workshop style, with experiential practice and reflection woven in (movement, somatic exploration, breath, and embodiment practices).

The second call of each month will be a circle, more focused on integration, group exchange, and bringing everything into the body and into our lives.

Between calls, there will be at-home practices (always optional and go at your own pace) for you to explore on your own, and we will reflect together in group.

As a trauma-resolution practitioner, it is vitally important to me that this space be trauma-informed.

This immersion is crafted with the understanding that every one of us are in a different place in our relationship to pleasure and the knowing that pleasure can only grow when there is safety, healthy boundaries and a sense of being at-choice.

You will be encouraged to honor your edges, the yes and no of your body and the pacing of your own nervous system.

“Marissa has a wonderful way of holding a very safe healing container both in the group and in our 1:1’s. Being met exactly where I am at in the journey helped ease any shame and anxiety I felt. Being in this very sweet group also allowed me to relax into the universality of my experiences by allowing myself to be seen and being trusted to witness. I feel like I received the tools I needed to approach my life in a completely new way. I am deeply grateful. The course builds beautifully over the months and Marissa helped weave us into a close group.”

“Marissa creates a nonjudgemental, vulnerable space for collective sharing and listening. I came out of it more attuned to my body, learning that I need to trust it more, give it agency and be open to pleasure, always."

“Your knowledge is grounded, whole and precise. You have this ability to deliver anatomical information with such heart, patience and grace, making it an embodied experience to learn from you. Your way of holding space feels so safe and full of possibilities.”

“The knowledge Marissa shares is important. The way she shares this info feels so gentle, supportive and accessible.”

“This was a beautiful journey and helpful support. This offering came at just the right time for me and was incredibly healing and very effective. I am in a much more grounded and open place from having had this time together. It was paced just right and very generous.”

“This work is really a practice for our every day lives, no end point exists, and this is freeing. I want everyone to know that opening to more pleasure and joy can be a gentle process. How to truly listen to your body with deep compassion and curiosity. The practical anatomical information along with the emotional side of these teachings are profound and should be widely known.”
